Akershusgruppen

Akershusgruppen is a restaurant and bar group consisting of some of the most popular dining restaurants in Norway. The Group was established by Ole Tollefsen, Børre Jensen and Tom Erik Andreassen, all seasoned industry professionals. Today, Akershusgruppen has more than 25 different concepts, such as Café Skansen, Beer Palace, Nydalen Bryggeri & Spiseri, Kullt, Hansken and Mamma Pizza to name a few.

The restaurant market is driven by several trends. Increased tourism, general population growth and increased spending on experiences are some of these. Akershusgruppen is today one the largest and most profitable restaurant groups in the country. The company has also been distinguished as an attractive employer. In a 2021 survey made by “Great Place to Work”, Akershusgruppen was named as one the best workplaces in Norway.

Longship became the majority owner of Akershusgruppen in 2019. The three entrepreneurs are still part of the ownership, two of them active in the board and operations.
